About Us: Philip G. Ruggieri
Mr. Ruggieri comes to Cyber Operations from Norwich Group International where he served as Managing Partner. From their offices in Palm Beach, Orlando, and Beijing, he developed new business investments, concentrating in digital media, biometrics, software, biomedical, healthcare, and the travel/hospitality sectors.
Prior to that, Mr. Ruggieri was the senior vice president at CMH CareGroup, specializing in their new business development for an expanding line of medical products and devices. Previously, as a partner at Wyndcrest Partners, he worked primarily in developing digital media and telecommunications technology, focusing on the adoption of advanced network and digital entertainment technologies that enabled content management and built customer loyalty.
Mr. Ruggieri has extensive executive and management experience at International Business Machines (IBM) Corporation. His tenure there included assignments as Chief Financial Officer of the Global Telecommunications, Media and Entertainment Industry. He also served as Director of Worldwide Sales Operations for that team. He launched IBM's Global Digital Media Technology Group where he directed development, sales and marketing for deployment of advanced media technologies to clients around the world. In addition, he directed mission critical restructuring projects that yielded new business models to ensure IBM's sustainable market leadership. He worked in the United States and overseas, and has extensive experience in working in multi-cultural business environments.
Not only is Mr. Ruggieri the chairman of the board of a program very important to him: Special Olympics - Florida, he also serves on the board of directors of Hydrogen Engine Center, Inc., and Applied Transport Solutions, Inc. Previously, Phil served on the board of directors of PGA Interactive and NHL Interactive, helping these global brands proliferate their businesses through advanced technology. Mr. Ruggieri lives in Windermere, Florida with his wife, Kate, and their family. Together, they enjoy skiing, back country hiking, golf and water sports.
