Network Engineer

Work on a sophisticated global Voice over IP network and design and implement new data and voice networks for product testing.

Job duties include: Designing and implementing new networks include VOIP networks, laboratory test networks and IPv6 networks. Analyze, resolve, and document cause of Customer/Partner issues. Troubleshoot routing and protocol issues including VOIP protocols such as H.323 and SIP. Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot routers, switches, and firewalls. Perform security auditing and create and maintain network traffic filters. Manage network capacity and plan for needed network changes. Provide training, documentation, and technical assistance. Escalate and follow-up with vendors on problems. Upgrade/change device hardware, software, and firmware.

At least three years telecommunications/networking experience and a BS Degree in IT, CS, EE, or related field, or a demonstrated equivalent level of experience is required. Candidate must have an in-depth understanding of TCP/IP networking including IPv6. Must have a strong understanding of IP routing as well as VOIP protocols such as H.323, SIP, and SS7 as well as voice codecs including G.711, G.729, G.723, G.726. Needs ability to think analytically and troubleshoot problems effectively. Must be a proven self-starter with the ability to plan and complete projects independently, and learn new products and technologies from documentation.

On Call availability is required for hands on technical support after hours as needed, as well as during high traffic periods, including Holiday and Weekends.

Experience with Cisco IOS routers and switches is a requirement, and experience with Juniper routers is strongly preferred as well as experience with dynamic routing protocols such as OSPF, EIGRP and BGP. Knowledge of UNIX / Linux and understanding of scripting is desired. Professional certification such as a CISSP or CCVP is a plus. Experience with some or all of the following devices is preferred: Cisco IP-IP Gateways, Cisco TDM Gateways (AS 5x00), Nextone, Cisco Gatekeepers, and PIX and Netscreen Firewalls. Excellent demonstrated communications skills including the ability to interface with customers and work with other departments.

Regional Sales Representative

Account Executive Sales Representative for the Huntsville / North Alabama region. Must have excellent communication skills with the ability to generate new business through networking and cold calls. Requiring at least three years sales experience in business to business environment and proven track record. By focuing on building a strong network outside of our local Birmingham efforts, Cyber Operations plans to increase sales quickly by introducing our product line in Huntsville's high-tech market. We are seeking independent and dependable professionals who are passionate about selling.

Technician

In-House testing/certification of new products, site surveys and designs for new or existing installs, installations, trouble-shooting of existing systems. Installs and repairs electronic equipment, low voltage cabling, Fiber Optics and Telco devices. Consults with customer or supervisor to plan layout of equipment. Studies blueprints, schematics, manuals, and other specifications to determine installation procedures. Installs or oversees installation of equipment according to manufacturer's and company specifications. Consults with engineering personnel to resolve unusual problems in system operation and maintenance. May supervise workers in testing, tuning, and adjusting equipment to obtain optimum operating performance. May advise management regarding customer satisfaction, product performance, and suggestions for product improvements.

Needs to be familiar with some if not all of the following: Tadiran Phone Systems, Structured Cabling, PC Repair, Video Surveillance Equipment and Electronic Circuit Boards.
